Entry and exit checklist for NT

The stress of leaving a property and moving into a new home can be overwhelming for many Aussie Renters. We have made an informative checklist that will help you by presenting what you must do when you leave the rental property.

The checklist provides an easy to use worksheet that you can tick when the item has been provided, received and recorded. We encourage you to record everything as it makes it much easier at the end of tenancy to compile an argument for your bond refund, if a dispute arises.

Also included on the checklist are links to the legislation so you know your rights along with any time limits applicable to the request or action.

Make any notes on the checklist and when complete, file it with your remaining documents from the previous property. If you have followed our record management system, the complete hard copy file can be tidied up and scan as one document. Store it on your computer for future reference or with your backups.
